Kimberly Prescott founded Prescott HR Consulting (formerly Kimberly Price Consulting) in 2005. Kimberly's primary area of expertise is Human Resources/Employment Law Compliance, Employee Relations and Business Strategy.
Kimberly has played an integral part in assisting several clients with developing a strong internal management and human resources structure during periods of organizational change and/or rapid growth. She has also been responsible to creating and defining HR departments and practices from the ground up.
Kimberly brings more than 18 years of HR experience. She has held various HR Director and leadership positions, including at Whole Foods, Social Solutions, Maxim Healthcare Services, TEKsystems, Paychex and Giant Food.
Kimberly also uses her HR expertise in several volunteer roles. She is currently the President of the Howard County Human Resources Society (HoCo HRS) and she is an ongoing pro-bono consultant with the Taproot Foundation. Kimberly holds the Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications and attended the University of Maryland, University College, studying Human Resources Management. Additionally she is a member of the 2018 Class of Leadership Howard County.
When Kimberly is not working with clients, she enjoys traveling for good food, shopping and spending time with her husband and daughter.
